Darian Morsette an enrolled member of the Mandan Hidatsa and Arikara Tribe. I raised my family in New Town ND where I currently reside. My current employment is the Tourism Director for MHA Nation, I have been is this capacity for 12 years, 2 years as Marketing Manager and now 10 years the director.
The experience I have gained has moved the MHA Tourism Department into local, regional, national and international markets. During this time being employed in the tourism field, I also assisted in the development of North Dakota Native Tourism Alliance which has all 5 tribes of North Dakota collaborating to promote Native Tourism. I have been on the NDNTA Board 2 terms as Vice President and active on my second term as the President of the NDNTA Board, additionally I am active on my second term for the American Indian Alaskan Native Tourism Association for the Rocky Mountain Region.
